Fake RayBans?

We are in a reeeeally tight budget this year, and I still haven't bought my husband anything for Christmas.. There's a girl that sells RayBan aviator sunglasses replicas for $35.. I really want to get him a pair of those and add a little note saying that if we keep working together soon I'll get him real ones... My question is: should I buy them for him?
Please comment what you would do in my place. And if you think replicas are worth what they cost. Or suggest a better gift!!! Pleeeease keep in mind $35 right now are the most I can spend on him unfortunately :(

It shouldn't matter how much you spend on the gift. It's the thought that counts. I bought my husband underwear and socks because he needed them and he didn't want anything for christmas.

I don't understand the whole name brand thing.  I've worked for an optometrist for years and we sell them.  I've never spent my money on them because they're so overpriced from their value.  I just get a nice pair of polarized sunglasses.  If you decide though,  I dont think there is anything wrong with it!  Just mess with them and check out the quality.

I work at Sunglass hut. And I deal with people trying to come in and return replicas like they're authentic all day long. 
They look super real! Lol it takes me a while to pick out the minor details they miss. Go for it! No one else will know they are fake!

We can't spend much on each other this year, so I got my husband a pair of funny patterned underwear, a pair of pj pants, and two Tshirts from JC Penny that were on sale (normally 20$ each but on sale for 2 for 20$). I spent 5$ on the pj pants from Academy and then the underwear were I think about 5$ from target. If you think he'd like the shades, get them, there's nothing wrong with getting the knock offs. He'll be happy you thought of him at all I'm sure.
