Why do I feel so down, can someone please help

I'm 20, I have a two year old son and my boyfriend and him love each other. My boyfriend is 24, he lives at his parents house. I've asked him to move in with me twice, he didn't say to much about it. I personally think he's still attached to his moms tit... I love his mom but I had told him three times it's unattractive that his mother still washes his clothes, cooks for him and she even cleans his room sometimes... I'm really honestly ready to be settled down and start a family and it seems like he comes over late at night, and will go home in the morning.... Am I doing something wrong? Because he has already asked me to pick out an engagement ring... So i dont know what to think?

It sounds like you need to sit down and have a conversation with him. Not an argument, an adult conversation. You should be with someone for you, not your son. It's really great that your kid and your boyfriend get along so well. But if it's not working out for you, it's not the right person

You definitely need to sit down and have a serious conversation about what you want and need out of the relationship.

If he's already talking about something as serious as engagement, then why is he so opposed to moving in? Obviously moving in with your partner is a big commitment and can be scary, but if the two of you have been together awhile, and he's already mentioning marriage, then I think it's time for him to put his big boy pants on and take that step to move in with you.

You are a grown woman, have a child, and are trying to settle down with your own family. There's nothing wrong with that. However, you need to make sure that your SO wants that same thing. If he doesn't, or continues to hesitate, then it may be time to reevaluate your relationship.
