TTC with mild PCOS

Hi! I was just diagnosed with mild PCOS by my obgyn and she wants to start me on Metformin and thinks that that might regulate my cycle enough to get pregnant without any additional medication. She said it was "mild" because I do not have most of the physical symptoms (abnormal hair growth, overweight, etc.) I have just had irregular periods and when they did a blood test a slightly higher testosterone level than normal. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or experience TTC with PCOS and/or Metformin? Thanks!
