Weed and pregnancy?

My boyfriend smokes Weed every day and I do once in a while and I was wondering if weed effects the sperms mobility and strength. Does it? And we are TTC first month for baby #1 every other day we are having sex. Could there be a big chance for pregnancy to occur?

My boyfriend smokes weed just about every day and I did before I got pregnant and we were together only two months before I got pregnant. So I think it depends on the couple. I'm sure it does make them slower but it didn't cause any issues with our fertility whatsoever

Weed makes his sperm slower and weak. It helps if you stop.

My husband smoked weed while we were ttc. We went to a fertility specialist and found that he had low morphology (shape) and they weren’t strong swimmers. This could have just always been the case for him or impacted by weed, there wasn’t a way to tell since we didn’t have him tested before. He decided to quit until we got pregnant. Lucky for him it only took a few months :) lol

I wouldn't recommend smoking weed through out your pregnancy once you are pregnant.

Yes it does. I work for a urology office and that's a question they ask when people are having trouble conceiving. I'm not sure how much it can affect it but it does to some extent.
