Stupid question??

I'm starting my ovulation test today (first time) & I was told that you shouldn't drink lots of fluids & don't pee for 4 hours before taking a test...But normally I don't drink a lot and was wondering if I didn't drink for 2 hours will my urine be concentrated?

Some do suggest that you reduce your drink intake 2hrs before taking a test .. drink too much before any test can possibly alter the results slightly

I think you're thinking of a pregnancy test.  I took OPKs daily around 11am starting at cycle day 7 and I ate, drank, and used the restroom like normal and everything was fine.

For pregnancy tests you need a certain concentration of HCG before you'll get a positive so that's why they usually recommend using first morning urine or do a four hour hold.
