Asking for sex with a friend

So lately I've been having these little cravings of having sex with a boy who I'm close with. We've had sex before and he asked me over text but it was awkward after we did like talking to each. We're close again now and I want to ask him for sex again but i don't want to feel rejected and I don't know how he'll react. How should I ask him?
