Moms that are currently breast feeding or have breast fed before

So I'm planning to breast feed my baby once she's here. But I have this question to the moms that are ready doing so and Mabey this might not be like something important but it's something on my mind. Do you breastfeed in public? And was it something that took a bit to get used too. I know that caring how people react isn't really important but what advice can you give to make the situation easier for a mother? Thank you :)
