What's the worst thing you've ever eaten at someone's house? Did you pretend to enjoy it to be nice?

Before my MIL was my MIL, I went over her house for dinner & she served us spaghetti with peas and melted American cheese on top 😭 every bite was painful! I told her that I enjoyed it but I was so full & would love to take the rest home and enjoy it later. I'm sure you can guess where that food went once I got home...sorry 🙈
