What do you think? If is a boy, should the husband pick the names and if is a girl then you pick the name. Or should be both to decide which name to put whether is a boy or girl?

That's what my SOs family did and 25+ years later his mother still complains about not being able to name any girls because they had 3 boys and didn't 100% agree with the names. Both of you should have a part in your baby's name. Maybe he can make up a list and you can discuss your favorite

I had my daughters name already picked out before I was pregnant. It went so well with his last name that he absolutely fell in love when I brought it up to him at 5 weeks pregnant. We have been sticking with it ever since :)

When we found out we were having a boy my husband asked if we could name him after his Father, I thought it was really sweet and agreed. Both of my brothers share the same middle name (after my grandfather) so we passed that down to our son too. Naming him was super easy.

Naming our daughter was a much harder task Lol we went back and forth forever trying to agree on a name.

That's what I wanted in the beginning because my huaband started throwing random and dumb names he'd make up for a girl. I told him if its a girl ill pick her name but I felt bad because i knew he wanted to be a part of the name picking. He suggested Lana and then I came up with Eliana and he fell in love with it!! I think its important to pick a name out together so nobody feels left out and two minds are better than one when looking for a name.

He's naming them. I get veto rights. That's the agreement because they're getting my last name because his last name doesn't deserve to be passed on (it's a hyphenation of his dad's last name and his mom's ex husband's last name, and they're both...not so nice).

I picked the name for my first child from my first marriage (Brooklynn Jean), so I told my husband he could pick the name for this baby. He picked Paige Morgan. I think he did well!

My hubby picked the girl name and said I should pick the boy name that way they dont end up being named after ex's or crushes or creepy people that may have uncomfortably flirted with us consistently way back when lol!

I liked the name he picked so I had no problems with that arrangement!

My friend and her boyfriend agreed that if it was a boy, he could pick the first name and she'd pick the middle name and if it was a girl,  she'd pick the first name and he'd pick the middle name. The names had to be approved by each other of course.
