Bath=fail!!!! 36 weeks

Alissa
After dealing with incredibly painful gas cramps causing Braxton hicks for about an hour, I thought I would try a relaxing bath! I've read many post where they have helped with Braxton hick and I thought maybe it would loosen up some of my back muscles also.... Well, it was a complete fail!!!! We have an average sized bath. First of all, figuring out how to sit down was a task! I though For sure I would bust the bar off the side of the shower.. Once I finally got sat down, I had the most unpleasant feeling of my butthole actually touching the bottom of the tub! NEVER has that happen. It felt like my butt cheeks were flat tires and my butthole was like the "rim" running on the road! What is up with that?! Am I just so heavy my cheeks don't hold me up or is it possibly from swelling, idk.. Well after that discovery, I realized it was super hard to sit with my legs straight out in front of me... My belly completely prevented me from leaning forward or anything, it was sit at a  stiff 90 degree angle, or lay down. So I tried to lay down in the tub... Talk about beached whale! There was no way I could make laying down in the tub a comfortable experience... At this point I decided I was done, no way was this going to be comfortable or help relax me in anyway.. So I had to get up. That was a whole other battle.. Safe to say I will not be taking a bath again anytime soon.  Maybe if we had a super sized tub it would be possible.
