Do men come around to doing idea of pregnancy

Hi. Just found out I'm pregnant. Unplanned. Boyfriend is angry and blameful. We can't decide what to do as he thinks we'd be better off termininatin it. Do men eventually come around 2 d idea of a baby after d shock wears off

Don't make a life decision based on whether or not he'll be in the picture. Some people are happily married have 3kids and end up divorced and kids never see there dad, some babies are planned and then daddy decides this is not what he wants after all. You need to be certain in what you want and for the right reasons. I'm 31weeks my daughters dad advised me to get an abortion, I have it some though because it was something that would affect us both, but honestly I just couldn't. It's been hard, he's been violent & just non existent so I left him. We're still in touch & he says he'll be there for her.... But actions speak louder than words cause he also told me he wanted me to have his baby.... Just have to wait & see.

It really depends on the man. However while his opinion should be heard, please do not make a decision such as termination based on his opinion. That's something that he will be able to move past much quicker than you ever will.

Most of the time yes! I can't say your boyfriend will be the same but I know a lot of guys who you would think would never be okay with it and they say it's the best thing to happen to them and very happy!!

I've heard too many stories both ways. Some come around after a few weeks and are excited about baby, and others never do. My advice would be to do what YOU are most comfortable with because you can't predict how he's going to feel in the future, but you will largely be the one living with the decision. Whether you terminate or raise a child, I'd venture to say that either of those paths are life-altering, and it's YOUR life that tends to be altered much more than his. Basically I'm saying don't let him decide for you!

Men are fickle creatures who don't understand what they have coming until later down the road. I would talk to him properly about it and have a full on discussion, if you want to keep it then he needs to know you want this. If he's serious about you guys then he should support you all the way.

Eventually. We found out in July that we were expecting. Our first ultrasound wasn't until a month and a half later at 11 weeks. He said that he was excited before the ultrasound but didn't really show it until we got the first pictures.
