I decided to get induced because it was so close to the end of the year

I decided to get induced because it was so close to the end of the year. And my sister is in town to help. I wanted her to be able to help for as long as possible. I was only 1cm dilated since week 35 and there was no change each week after that I went in. The cirvidil to help ripen my cervix worked like a charm. I went from 1 to ready to push! They inserted it around 6pm and I was ready to push by before noon the next day. I got the epidural before doing so and didn't feel anything when pushing. I pushed for maybe 15 minutes and she was here. Labor was nothing to be scared about. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Now that she's here; my heart is so full. I look at her and just cry sometimes. Obviously my hormones are insane right now. But my heart aches for how much I love this little person. It's an incredible feeling. And the main thing I learned isnBREASTFEEDING IS HARD! And she can latch/suck successfully; which I guess is rare. I had to tell myself it's okay to give her formula. It was stressing me out so bad it wasn't worth it. I will try to pump when my milk comes in at least; to give her both for a while. But do whatever feels good and natural. Being a new mom is a roller coaster! But it's the most intense feeling of love I could never describe it. No words. Nothing short of amazing.
