2 vessel cord?

Yesterday I went back after some questionable results from my 20 week detailed. We learned that the cord only
Has 2 vessels (one artery and one vein) and it's suppose to have 2 arteries and one vein.... I'm not being placed on high risk and will now go to my doc, in addition to every week for my shot to help with development due to my 4 early deliveries, every 2 weeks to be hooked up to a monitor to monitor his heart rate and to do a sono and be sure he is growing as he should..... I had never heard of this and wondering if anyone else experienced this.

My son has the same thing. We found out right after the gender ultrasound. We see a specialist every month to keep an eye on his growth. Most SUA babies are expected to probably have kidney,heart or growth problems but every thing checked out fine. I'm now 36 weeks, and I see the specialist on Monday.

I have it too, I'm getting weekly monitoring and have been for 4 weeks. I'm 36 weeks now.

Yes..I did it was stressful to hear 31st first but... Everything looked good especially his heart. He is 6 weeks old and doing good my lil blessing

Yes. I went to high risk doc for US to confirm at 24w, was found at 20w anatomy scan. Baby looks fine other than that and measuring ahead. I continue to see my regular doc (28w now) and will go back to high risk at 32w for an additional high level US to check on babies growth, and go from there as to whether they think he will need to be induced, etc.
