Should the man always pay for the date?

If I ask him out, I'm paying. If he asks me out, he should pay. I work hard and make decent money, no shame in me picking up the tab.

In the beginning when he's courting me then hell ya! When it becomes official then I don't mind picking up the bill sometimes but it would have to be me who decides and not him who says I should do it.

I say yes but that when you are dating.. When it becomes a serious relationship then the woman should once in awhile to show gratitude (although all the guys I was with refuse to let me)

My hubby and I actually used to take turns paying. I mean, when we FIRST started dating he paid but after a couple weeks I started offering as I made more money than he did.

We started out as friends 9 years ago so by the time we started dating I was just use to always paying half or helping out where I can. We've been together 8 years and I still like to try and do things 50/50. He pays most of the household bills so if I can pay for a lunch or dinner or some screws at Home Depot 😂 I love to. He does a lot for me so it's all good.

Nah. I make a lot more money than my hubby so I usually insist on paying. Sometimes he does or we split. I'm sure on our first few dates he paid but once our relationship was serious it didn't matter anymore
