Is two middle names too long?

If we had a girl her name was going to be Bailey Elliott after my grandfather. However for a boy we both fell in LOVE with carter james...CJ for short...and decided we could give our next child Elliott. However my grandpa is 90 years old and Im afraid my he wont be around long enough to meet my second child which will carry his name :( do you think 2 middle names is too long?

Carter-James (CJ) Elliot I think that would be cute and work too. My nephew is an Arthur-James (AJ) Noel :)
