Why are people trying to justify anything Bill Cosby has done?

The crimes of others in no way demonizes the multiple assaults that Cosby had admitted to.  In a deposition 10 years ago, he admitted to drugging women with the intent of having sex with them. Stop making excuses for this asshole.

I don't see how all of these things relate. Bill Cosby has a horrible track record. The statistics prove that women rarely lie about rape. Rape by a celebrity is even less reported than rape by a stranger, and the statistics for unreported sexual assault are shocking. A woman goes through hell after reporting sexual assault including how society sees them as gold digging hoes who deserved what they got. It's a sad look at our society when time after time men are believed over women first and women are treated like bitches and hoes when they are the victims. Too many consistent stories about Cosby. Too many partial admissions from Cosby himself.

Bill Cosby was charged because of what he said occurred during a deposition. He admitted having sex with a woman who was unable to concent.

I'm going to post this again. While I agree that the people who did the other things mentioned should have been held accountable, I can't for the life of me understand why people are using Bill Cosby, who seems pretty damn guilty, as a platform to make that point. The fact that they are saying they are "jailing Dr. Huxtable" furthers my belief that people are conflating a TV character with the actor behind that character.

I think the point of the picture is that all of these people have walked free when their crimes have been proven and Bill Cosby's crimes have not. They are going off of what the women are saying. I don't know the whole story, I'm just going off of this post. I really don't pay much attention to celebrity gossip... Sorry.

We aren't putting Mr. Huxtable in jail. Mr. Huxtable is a character that Cosby was paid to portray. Cosby may not be anything like the character. NONE of us know him personally. Cosby is still a human being... if any of the allegations are true then he deserves to face the law. Not because he is black but because he is wrong for hurting people and thinking his fame could keep him safe.
