How say to parents that I am getting married

Ok so me and my bf were planning to get married in summer. We are 26 and ready to start a life together. We are interracial couple so my mother cannot accept him even after 2 years of relationship. We wanted to do the ceremony alone by the beach so we really live the moment. How can I tell my mother that that's the plan? Or should I tell her after the wedding?
