No Period after D&C

Hello! My husband and I have been TTC for about 6 months now. We don't have any kids, so all of this is a first for us (took me forever to learn some of these acronyms!) Unfortunately, we had a miscarriage back in September and I had a D&C Septemeber 25. Since then I have still not had a period... I've taken pregnancy test after pregnancy test and it comes back negative every time. Any one else face this issue? Or have advice? My OBGYN says not to worry, give it more time, but we are SO ready to try again and not having a period makes it slight tricky. Thanks for any advice/tips/stories!
