Help! I'm freaking out.

One time before I was using a self use treatment for a yeast infection and it came with this cream to use. At first I thought I was using the cream right and put it on the inside of my vagina (like where the folds are) but something told me to read it again. When I read it, it said to put it in the outside like where the skin is, and now I'm wondering could I have possibly mess something up or causes something to get worst. And I'm freaking out really bad. Help?
