What's worse for your pregnancy - sleeping poorly,: or sleeping on your right side?

Tina
20 weeks in. Been doing my best to spend all night every night on my left side, but I'm finding it difficult to stay asleep when I do that. Past few nights I've slept much better and been able to get the minimum recommended 7 hours (after spending 8-9 in bed) by spending a lot of the night, if not most, on my right. I've read doing that can lead to miscarriage, and not getting enough sleep can cause preterm labour and emergency c-section, as well as other general functioning problems related to sleep deprivation. Is it okay to spend a couple of hours or nights on my right just to get enough sleep??? Really looking forward to having my normal body back after all this! !!!!
