Using tampons for discharge?

Since I have been on birth control, my periods have not been heavy enough to use tampons, which is great! But I have always had an annoying amount of discharge that always stains my underwear. It's absolutely disgusting. I think I may start wearing the light tampons for the discharge. Does anyone else do this?

I would use a panty liner. leaving in a tampon just unbalances your ph and is just a breeding ground for bacteria!

Absolutely not. Use a pantyliner. That's just TSS waiting to happen. Better safe than sorry. :)

I did at one point but found them slightly painful to take out as they were pretty much dry. I prefer pantyliners :)

Nope. Tampons are only for periods. You can get a huge pack of pantyliners, however. This is what I do. It's saved so many pairs of underwear! My favorite so far are the U by Kotex barely there ones. The absorption is great and the sides are sheer, and they are extremely thin. The adhesive is really strong as well.
