Morning sickness

Kii • Mama to Bram and Waylon💛
I'm 6 weeks pregnant and haven't thrown up at all yet. I definitely get waves of nausea where I feel so completely and utterly sick to my stomach and just on the verge of throwing up but I never do. Is this normal? When did you start actually throwing up? Should I consider myself lucky I haven't thrown up yet?

Morning sickness isn't necessarily vomiting. I had extremes nausea for about 2 weeks then it went away and I never threw up.

Consider yourself lucky. I'm almost 12 weeks and haven't thrown up the whole time. Just waves of nausea. I only threw up when I was 4 dpo to 8 dpo, my bodies way of telling me I was pregnant I guess :)

Aha I posted this last night and this morning I threw up for the first time..funny how that works. I hope it doesn't get too extreme since I still have to go to school.

Jeez that sounds awful. I'm definitely frightened that once I finally throw up it won't stop. When I start to feel really sick I find drinking organic herbal tea helps settle my tummy and also helps when I get headaches,

I got severe nausea at 6 weeks and threw up 3 times that week. I tried to manage for a while but just couldn't do my job (5th grade teacher). I finally caved and asked my doctor about medicine. She put me on Diclegis and it has saved my life. Makes me extremely hungry, but better than feeling awful!
