Anyone with epilepsy & trying for a baby/have a baby?

Hey! I was diagnosed with epilepsy nearly 8 years ago, everything is controlled by medication & I see a neurologist every few months! Me and my partner are trying for baby number 1, is there anyone that is or has been in the same situation?

I have had epilepsy for 10 years and controlled now for 3 years. I got pregnant 6 years ago and was considered high risk. The hormonal changes when I was pregnant caused more sezuires but they changed my mess and finally controlled then my last 5 months of pregnancy. I had a c-section and my son was born perfectly healthy :)

Yes you will be considered "high risked " if your on medication check with your doctor if the medication is ok I have epilepsy trying to concieve wasn't a problem but the pregnancy was I had to get induced & had to be in the doctors 3 times a week for fetal monitoring !
