First doc appointment - confirmation
I thought I was about 8 weeks along but I guess because of how long my cycle is (34-36 days) I was off. Well I went to my first doc appointment today and got an ultra sound. They saw the gestational sac but nothing inside. She thought maybe it had been to early (last cycle was Nov 9th, lasted 3 days) or that I have maybe miscarried.
So I called after I left my appointment because I wanted to know if maybe I could get blood work and the nurse said she would speak to the doc and call me back. She calls me back moments later and said the doc on hand (mine had left) said that blood work would show high hcg because there is a gestational sac and yolk sac. I was never told the other doc saw a yolk sac. This is good news then right? I'm pretty nervous but I redid my expected due date with my cycle days and it says I just started 7 weeks.
