I had my baby girl on Thursday, and I have not pooped yet. I had coffee this morning and felt like I needed to go, but was waiting to get home since my peri bottle was there and it is excruciating to go without it. On the way home, we got a call from the pediatrician that we needed to go back to the hospital since our daughter's bilirubin numbers came back high. We are at the hospital now, and they admitted her for the night to be under the lights. Now I just feel constipation discomfort but can't go. My husband is bringing me some stool softener, but I'm starting to get worried about this. Anyone else go this long after labor? Is this normal to be this backed up???
