Faint Control line?

So I took another test to see how my lines we're progressing.  This was about at my 5 week mark.. 6 weeks today.. faint control line? The first time I took it at my 4 week mark I had a very very light positive test line..

My test started getting lifhter too, google the hook effect and once you get later into pregnancy your line will actually get lighter

Stop testing! Hook effect came into play for me at 5 weeks!

It means your hormone levels are high and it's pulling the color from the control line. At least that's what First Response says about their tests. The higher your hormones, the changes increase for a false negative. So theoretically if you took a test mid pregnancy it can show negative. I took 3 tests and all my control lines were lighter. Same with my first baby. He's 2.5 now. Do you go to the doctor in 2 weeks, when you're 8 weeks?
