progesterone during pregnancy ??

I am 7 weeks pregnant and I've had a history of miscarriages. My doctor suggested today that I consider taking progesterone. Has anyone else ever took this during pregnancy or have any thoughts about it.

I take it twice a day. Started at 6 weeks and will take until 12. This was due to a previous miscarriage

I'm taking 3 a day vaginally. I've never not taken it so I have nothing to compare it to, however, your progesterone needs to be between like 17-29 I think and even with taking 600mg per day, mine is staying around 25 so I believe that the progesterone supplements are the only things keeping my pregnancy going right now.

I'm taking it now after two early miscarriages. I am now 10 weeks and I believe the progesterone is a big reason! It does make my symptoms worse, but well worth having a healthy baby/pregnancy 😊

I saw my doctor first when i was 6weeks along. She prescribed me progesterone for the next 3 weeks because she said once the baby is past 9 weeks it should generally be stable.
