Anyone else scared to give birth?

Question

This is my first pregnancy, and wasn't planned. I'm so exited to be pregnant and to have a baby but I am TOTALLY scared of giving birth. It actually gives me anxiety, should I plan a C section? Or try natural birth? I'm scared about the stretching of natural birth and that I won't heal back to how I was and my fiancée won't want to have sex with me anymore? Is anyone else worried about this or is it just me? Give me some confidence ladies!

Hello, pregnant with my 2nd and not afraid to give birth only because I've been through it before and naturally, so if it was as bad as people say I would be scared but I'm not. I did a natural vaginal birth and it went swimmingly ! My vagina went extremely tight again after the healing process and it was like I was a Virgin lol, infact in more scared of having to have a c section then give birth vaginally. You can do it it's what we are made for :)

Of course you're going to be scared! I can't speak for everyone because obviously we are all different but my birthing process was super easy. I had an epidural, arrived to hospital at 9:30 and her by 3:45pm. I've asked my fiance if my vagina is any different since birth and he said nope. Of course he could be lying but hey, he still wants to sleep with me so that's a plus :)  good luck girlie

I always say try natural,unless medically you cant.  Women were made to give birth! 
I'm scared too! I have 17 days till my due date, crazy! But I'm still happy for the end result.  Your gonna do great!

I'm not scared now but I sure will be when it's time!! Lol I plan on getting epidural I'm more scared of the needle than giving birth!

Lol..... sorry to laugh but I was the same way. I'm also a ftm 21 weeks pregnant and I think my boyfriend is more nervous about it now than I am lol. I heard u go back ur vagina doesn't stay stretched out like that. And the doctor won't give u a c-section unless it's needed. After the baby just do ur kegal exercises and you'll be fine and ur fiance will never kno lol

I w as s terrified that I wouldn't go back to normal after my last baby. I currently have 3 and am about 6 wks with my 4th it totally went back to normal. With my first 2 I had to be cut so they sewed it up but #3 my ob did some weird stretching thing and even then it went back. Hope this helps

It's super common to be nervous about giving birth. I know I' am. You aren't alone when it comes to that. I think you should definitely consider going in naturally and getting an epidural. You'll heal so much better and quicker than you would having a c section. Major surgery vs. having sore ladies parts. Just something to think about.
