More Yeast Infections with IUD?

Question

I have had 4-5 yeast infections in about a years time period after my Skyla insertion! Anyone else have this problem? Should I be concerned?

It's all about hygiene I've had my iud for 2 years now and haven't had a yeast infection. If you're sexually active both you and your partner should shower before the deed that will reduce that amount of bacteria going into you. While having an iud the cervix is more prone to get yeast infections

I've honestly never had once since having my iud out in and it's been 7 months.
