Am I old fashioned or is this a problem?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months. We went to high school together but didn't meet until our 2nd semester of senior year, graduated together in May of 2015, and started dating a week after graduation. I recently turned 18, while he is turning 19 very soon. He has had a few relationships (I am his longest) and a few one night stands. This is my FIRST relationship and he was my first kiss. Now, I feel like I did everything at the wrong time and have told him once a month ago that I felt like a slut. I gave him a handjob after a month of dating, blowjob after almost 3 months, and we kind of had sex around our 6 month. I told him that I felt like it was all too soon. I don't regret doing it (although I kind of regret the sex part. It was rushed, in his messy room and lasted 10 minutes because I had to go home), I just don't like the timetable of it all.

He insists that its perfectly normal and that I am just a bit old fashioned. He also stated I am not a slut, which I don't feel like I am any longer, and if I was we wouldn't be lasting as long as we have.

Is he right? Am I just overreacting and a little old fashioned?

I read a lot and sometimes worry that warped my idea of relationships and sex, although I have read many adult books or teen fiction books where it's not all rainbows and unicorns.

First of all, you're definitely not a slut! I wouldn't say this is too fast, but if you feel like it is, then talk to him and maybe don't have sex until YOU feel comfortable. Relationships aren't cookie cutters, people do everything at different times depending on what works for them, and that's completely fine! Just try to figure out what you're comfortable with and stick with that for now! If he's not ok with it, he's not a keeper! Good luck!!!

OMG me too. I met my boyfriend online then the first time I met him I gave him head, the 9 months in we had sex (both of us were virgins)... After prom... In the car... He said it's not bad and it was our first time. It was beautiful no matter what. But I get you. I still feel bad... I wanted it to be perfect... It sucks...so I'm seeing him again in a few weeks and I told him that since it's the new year, let's do it but how we should've done it during out first time. It made me feel better. He said I need to stop blaming myself. Which he's right. I just rushed.
