Is Drinking Soda Water Harmful To My Baby??!!!

Help!!! I'm 9 weeks pregnant & well I have been having really bad stomach/heartburns, upset stomach, nausea. It's really bad so the only thing that gives me relieve is a Soda Water Or Andrews Salts but one of my family members told me that drinking too much can affect my baby's bones! :'( Is this true???!! Please I'm really worried now.

Someone on here said caffeine is a no no and that's not true. This is from my ob/midwife's page and she told me caffeine is fine,just monitor your intake

I drink soda water on the reg. I add half a lime and some mint leaves and it's heaven. Better that than other sodas with tons of sugar. However, be aware that soda water does contain salt so keep ur salt intake in check. My husband bought a SodaStream awhile back and we have turned infused water into carbonated water which is more tasty then normal water and does not contain the salt!

Stick to Sprite, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, ginger ale, etc. But honestly, the best thing to drink is water. Your baby loves water. Stick to water if you can't keep water down, try Sprite or the other sodas mentioned. Try not to drink it every so often. Having soda in moderation is good. ✌🏾️

Don't drink Coke it's bad for you drinking seven up or Sprite it's better and than after drink a cup of water so you won't have to much sugar in your blood. My doctor said that for a pregnancy girl we should consume a lot of sugar we need to be careful

Try seltzer water- it's just carbonated water, but the bubbles help. I asked my OB yesterday and she said it's perfectly fine to drink.

U should ask your dr if you're that worried. But I drink seltzer and its fine.

Oh - I drank about six bottles of S.Pellegrino in a week. I can't tolerate normal water.
