First c section will you always have to have a c section?

I had my daughter six years ago ended up having a c section i was wondering if i will have to have another c section with this new baby im having! Thanks ladies

It depends on your doctor and hospital. My sister had c-section with #1, then 3 years later wanted a VBAC with #2. She had to switch doctors, pay the doc a VBAC fee, and sign a bunch of papers, for liability sake. For her, the fee to the doc was because he had to be on the hospital premises during her entire labor, in case of complications.

No, depends on your doctor but I think you have to be a "candidate" for a VBAC.

I do bcuz the hospital I'm giving birth at has a policy if you have ever had a c section and you give birth there again then you have to have another c section. So it depends on your doc, hospital, if you even plan on delivering at a hospital... Etc.  I wish I didn't have too!
