Birth control advice?

I'm looking for a birth control that will either make my period reliably regular or gone altogether. What advice do y'all have?

The pill, patch, and ring can all do both: if you have a break week you will get a regular period, if you take them continuously you will not get a period.

The hormonal IUD also stops periods in many cases, as do the shot and implant, but they don't always and some end up bleeding more, at least while their body adjusts.

The shot was awful for me. The pill will make it regular. After a couple years it will become lighter and shorter, but it also may not. The IUD for me is the best. It has little to no adverse symptoms for me and I have light spotting 2 or 3 days out of the month normally right on time, maybe a day or two late. I have very little PMS, almost no cramps, but maybe a little moodiness but that's normal. It's considered an "emergency" for me to have birth control because my symptoms and bleeding were so severe... so the IUD has been amazing..m
