Fever???

Question

I have been running a fever (anywhere from 99.6 - 101.7). I haven't felt bad, except for the occasional allergies and chills. All in all, I've felt great. I was just wondering if this was normal, or if I should be worried about some sort of illness that could affect my baby?

I had almost the exact range (99.4-101.4) and no one was concerned. I was told they wouldn't even make an appointment until I was over 101.7 WITH medication (which I wasn't taking any). After about two months it died down on its own. I stay normal now and about once a week I hit about 100. I have no other symptoms except being tired when I get the fever.
I would call your midwife to make sure she's informed and listen to your body, because you don't want to take a chance.

I wouldn't worry about a low grade fever like that. It's the higher temps that are damaging to baby. But it's always a good idea to check in with your doc.

Could be getting cold/flu take paracetamol at regular intervals to keep your temperature down
