Cervical mucous and ovulation

So I was suppose to ovulate on Sunday Jan 3rd according to glow. My cervical mucous started the Tuesday before and was thick and egg white like on Friday. By Sunday my cervical mucous was pretty much gone. It seems like I ovulate sooner each time than what is predicted. Should I rely more on my cervical mucous as an indicator as opposed to the prediction from glow? We did the BD according to my cervical mucous this time so now I'm waiting to see if AF will make an appearance.
