Anyone pregnant and still breastfeeding another?

Im 9weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second and was advised to stop breastfeeding but ive read lots of information that suggest its perfectly safe.

I work for a lady that has 8 children and breastfeeds .. But point being she's not stopped breastfeeding for 17 years now lol so of course she's been breastfeeding during every pregnancy

My daughter is 10 months old and still breastfeeding. I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I worry a little about my milk changing or what I'm going to do when the baby comes but she's eating lots of food now and drinks from a cup so I think we will just roll with it and let nature take its course. I tried supplementing with formula but she refused the bottle. My doctor said its fine she said naturally your body will provide first for the unborn baby the for the nursing baby and then for you. So if anyone's suffering its mama 😌

I nursed as a child. My mom got pregnant when I was 15 months. I nursed the whole pregnancy, and then my brother was born and we both nursed for a few years.

I did it with my last 2.  She was 4 months when I got pregnant and I didn't know until about 12 weeks. It had been going smoothly so far and my midwife said it was perfectly fine so I continued.
She was a little over a year when her sister was born and I weaned her then.

I did for about 5 months or so then my milk changed back to colostrum. My little would still take but he didn't seem dependant on it anymore and I was finding it painful so I stopped at that point. I'm enjoying my 4 month break :) Lots of people do it without problems  but if you feel too weak from it, or like you are having strong contractions, then I would consider weaning. I think the main concerns are that it can cause contractions and that it might be difficult to keep up nutritionally for all three of you.

I was adviced to stop also but I am not.. If milk changes baby will decided if he wants it or not, I'm 16 weeks now and no problem.. And I plan to tandem nurse when my second baby comes 😍 good luck!!

My one year old still nurses before bed and naps. When I met my ob I told her my family said I need to stop breastfeeding now that I'm pregnant. My ob said do they have any medical qualifications lol. She warned me my milk might change but if I want to nurse until the baby comes and then tandem nurse it won't hurt me or either kid.

I was breastfeeding when I got pregnant and had no intentions of stopping, but around 13 weeks I dried up completley🙁
