Part time cloth diapering?

I'm going to be a stay at home mom for this little one and I was thinking about cloth diapering at home and using disposable diapers when I take him out.  Would it be worth it?

My SiL used disposable for her 2 year old and cloth for her now 6 month old. She prefers the cloth by far... So much so that Ibthink that's the direction I'm going to head. She was a SAHM for both.

You could try a hybrid cloth diaper. You can use cloth inserts at home and disposable inserts when you go out. Check out Flip, Grovia, gDiapers, and Thirsties.

It's better for baby ☺️ its a little more work, washing but it's worth it. There are different types out there as far as pricing. For diapers I use Earth Best

I read that even though cloth is expensive, it's actually financially better for you than full time disposable. I plan on doing cloth at home and having disposable for when we are out and about. But I'm getting the money together so I can stock up on cloth now :)

That's what I did for a while, just if we were going to be out for hours. I didn't want to have to carry around the messy cloth diapers. I felt it was still worth it by far.
