Check up turns into delivery

January 4th at around 11:30 pm I started to have contractions. But this was my new "normal" considering my doctor took me off my contraction medication and changed my shot to heparin twice a day. I called my SO and he convinced me to just track the contractions since my next appointment was the next day at 1:00pm.

Finally the next day at my appt the doctor asked the usual questions then tells me she is going to hook me up to the monitor because I had 4 contractions during my exam. My So left me at the doctor so he could get our 6 year old from school, then come and pick me up.

About 5 min with the monitor on the doctor comes in and tells me we are having a baby today at 6am. Take in mind this is now January 5th. My due date wasn't until January 30th.

The c-section took only 7 min. My little princess has her cord wrapped around her wrist and around her tummy in a knot like a belt.

After fixing mommy and baby up we find that she is not only early but she has a heart murmur. We follow up with the Cardiologist on monday. She is amazing and we can't stop looking at her.
