Paraguard IUD?

Question

Do any of you ladies have the paraguard and if so do you like it?
I go in for my 6 week pp check up on Tuesday and am considering the paraguard since its hormone free ( hormones tend to mess me up) 
 So could you please tell me about your experiences with it!

I'd like to know as well! It seems like the best option for me too! From everything I've read online about it is pretty good other than the longer, stronger, heavier periods you might(?) get? I'm not sure if that is guaranteed but that's the only thing that scares me considering my periods are pretty brutal! But I also plan on breastfeeding so I'm wondering if that would still affect me since breastfeeding mothers usually don't get their periods back for a while!

I have the paraguard in now. My first period, on it, was "normal", for me. My second one; late, and light. It was supposed to also end a week ago, but I'm still bleeding. Not enough to call a period, but bleeding. Otherwise, I haven't had any side effects! It's been in now, about two months. Next period is due in 15 days! (Thank you, Glow!) let's see if this one is late, too.

I've used IUD for my first baby and it was great, no side effects, no problem at all. I took the second IUD out after 8 years and got pregnant after trying for 4 months.  I used the one with medicine which you change every 5 years. This one gives you less period or sometimes you dont even have periods which is normal, doctor says! There's one you change every 10 years (without medicine) which gives you normal period or heavier than the 5 year one! Hope this helps!

I have the paraguard. Ive had it in for about 3 months now. My first period was super heavy and lasted almost 3 weeks. I'm not on my second period for the last week and it seems to be pretty much over. I haven't had any side effects other than a super long period with the first one. I had the mirena before this one and I hated it. This one works out much better for me so far.
