When to tell your boss of your new job you're pregnant, and how?

I just got a different, better paying job. I was advised not to mention being pregnant in my interview, as it's not incredibly noticeable yet.

Well I got the job, and it so happens I have my 13 week check up the same day as my first day of work..

How long should I wait to mention it to my boss? How should I say it?

I've been working full time but just recently got a new job at another hospital and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Couldn't hide it of course but just be upfront. I let them know I definitely plan on coming back as soon as my doctor releases me to work again. They welcomed me with open arms!

I found out two days before I started my new job. I'm high risk and need multiple appointments, as well as not being able to be in certain procedures, etc. (nurse), so I knew I needed to be upfront.  So, I showed up on my first day, met with my boss at lunch, said "Thanks for choosing me. I'm really excited about the position. But you should be aware I just found out I am pregnant and I am going to need some time off for appointments. What days and times would be best for me to try to schedule them?" It went well and everything has been going smoothly so far.

I started a new job at 12 weeks, but didn't tell my boss until I was 22 weeks (I didn't show until 7 months). I was nervous, but my company was incredibly supportive.

Just got a new job and was straight up at the interview and told them. I told them my plans after birth and they were fine with it and hired me!

I was going to apply for a new job, but decided I better not when I found out I was pregnant. In Alberta I need to be with my employer for 12 months or they legally don't have to hold my job for me. So I guess I'm staying. I would look up the regulations where you live, but the longer you wait to tell your boss the more mistrust they might feel towards you.

I just looked right at my boss and said "I'm pregnant and due in July" and she told me okay. And give me easy things to do that don't include lifting too heavy of things.
