Need answers

So I haven't had a period since November, I took a pregnancy test and its negative. I have an appointment at the end of this month with a gynecologist, since we've been trying for the past 2yrs and nothing. I did blood work to check if I have an imbalance of my hormones and that came back OK. So hopefully this doctor can give me some answers. If nothing at all I'm really thinking about fostering to adopt a baby.
