MTHFR gene mutation

Angela • Don`t worry, just breath, if it`s ment to be it will find its way :)
Hi I'm here to start a new post about MTHFR which is a gene mutation that affects getting and staying pregnant. The way it affects pregnancy is how it inhibits our ability to absorb folic acid. We can't! And thats really impotent for making baby. Also another way it affects pregnancy is by causing higher risk for blood clots. So I found out I had this after my second M/C in a 2 year period and both ended at 5weeks. Now I'm on methelfolate and a baby aspirin every day. I'm right at 5 weeks and this its the time I had the last 2 m/C so I'm very scared. My first appt is Thursday so I can start lovenox shots which is to help with the clotting part of the mutation. I'd love to find other mothers with MTHFR and hear their stories.
