Provera

I had my D&C on October 1. I started my period six weeks later in November. . Then I Was supposed to start sometime in December but never showed. My doctor called me in Provera to help kickstart my period. I took it for 10 days straight.  while on the pill I spotted the whole time. Now that I am off the pill I am not bleeding whatsoever. Has anyone ever had this happen to them??my doctor  did tell me it could take up to two weeks to get my period. I just thought since I was spotting on the pill that my period would arrive shortly after.... I'm getting frustrated with my body.
