Is it safe??

Question

So I'm still a virgin and I'm dating this new guy and I know that we're going to have sex. I really wanted to get on the pill or take the depo shot first but I won't be able to until the end of the month. Is it safe to have sex with only a condom? I really don't want to get pregnant and I also don't want to wait until the end of the month.

Condoms are great! I use them as my only form of birth control, I'm just super careful- I'm the one who puts the condom on so I can make sure there are no mistakes, we do a check right after to make sure there are no leaks. It takes extra caution but they can work perfectly fine if you're very careful!
