So I'm still a virgin and I'm dating this new guy and I know that we're going to have sex. I really wanted to get on the pill or take the depo shot first but I won't be able to until the end of the month. Is it safe to have sex with only a condom? I really don't want to get pregnant and I also don't want to wait until the end of the month.

The condom should be fine, get him to pull out when he's about to cum as a precaution if you want to. Even if it splits etc you can get the morning after pill as a "just in case". I know it's important to have safe sex but don't over think it when the time comes, enjoy your first time!

Oh btw condoms will protect you against most STI's but not gential warts/herpes

Condoms are great! I use them as my only form of birth control, I'm just super careful- I'm the one who puts the condom on so I can make sure there are no mistakes, we do a check right after to make sure there are no leaks. It takes extra caution but they can work perfectly fine if you're very careful!
