Advise please

I did a big no no but I broke open 2 clear blue digital pregnancy test agter they both came back negative. I am 4 days late with no sign of AF. Well, when I broke them apart I noticed 2 vvvvfl on both test but I also noticed that they are both blue dye. Has anyone else done this and still later recieved a BFP? I am going to retest tomorrow with a pink dye.

Also, does anyone know if digitals require more hormones to be present?
