Sex after MC

So for the past 2 days I haven't been bleeding anymore from my MC last week, hoping it's all over. My midwife told me to wait 2 weeks to have sex but I really want to start trying again and my husband and I are both getting antsy. It's been about a week and a half since this whole thi mf stated. Had anyone had sex before the 2 week mark and been ok with no infection etc?
