Our lovely girl decided waiting another month was not in the cards

Our lovely girl decided waiting another month was not in the cards. My water broke around 5:45am while I slept - a total shock. I was 1 cm upon arrival. It took hours to get to 4/5 cm and I wasn't really progressing. The epidural was wearing off so they gave me an extra boost. They checked me after that to discover I was suddenly 10 cm and it was time. Two bouts of pushing and five minutes later, she was here! 5lbs, 11oz and stable!
