Help- period diarrhea?!

Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of period diarrhea? Almost every time I'm on my period I get diarrhea and it hurts so bad but I don't know how to make it stop.

Immodium? I usually just take midol and that seems to make all of my symptoms vanish, including the constant bathroom trips.

Typically cramping (contracting muscles) make the diarrhea symptoms for me. So I take ibuprofen to prevent it

For me, I cut way back on dairy products in general and, due to having problems with anemia, increased iron-rich foods.  It seemed to help my poop problems but also my cramps/PMS.  It's been years now and only very rarely have any issues.
Every women is different of course but I would suggest looking up 'PMS diet', it helped me.
