Announcement etiquette?!?

I can't figure out when is the right time to tell my family. I'm sure they'll be just as excited as I am just don't know when is the right time. Should I wait til after I have an ultrasound next month?

It's up to you.. My first r waited til 12 weeks.. This one we aren't saying anything until 24-26 weeks so it's up to you and SO really..

We told close family (parents and  grandparents) and our best friends after our first ultrasound and the rest of our family/friends after 12 weeks. It's whatever you feel comfortable with.

I told my closest friends and mine and my husbands immediate family a few days after me and my husband found out. And I plan on telling the rest of our families that live out of state once we have our first doctors appt tomorrow :)

I planned 8 weeks, then 12. Now I'm at 13 and still haven't announced. My husband keeps saying I'll give birth before I tell anyone lol. It's when you feel comfortable. Our parents and really close friends know. We did genetic testing and a perk was finding out the sex early. So now when those results come in, we'll tell everyone hey we're having a baby and it's a boy/girl in one shot.

We told immediate family, immediately..which was at 5 weeks. We announced to the world at 8 weeks before the first ultrasound. I know that a lot of people wait until after 12 weeks because of the risk of miscarriage but I wasn't worried. If something did happen, we'd have an amazing support system behind us every step of the way. Id rather go through it with the people I love instead of alone.
