Did having a baby change your relationship?

Before I got pregnant me and my fiance argued a lot and sucked at communicating. I think being pregnant snapped me out of my immature ways and we get a log so much better. He even handles my pregnancy mood swings better than ever. Lol I wanna know if the stress of pregnancy have an affect on relationships in a good way, bad way or no change at all.

A baby is a huge stress. Wonderful but huge stress.

My husband and I never fought and my pregnancy was wonderful. After having our son we argue. Nothing relationship breaking but we never fought before. There is a lot to consider when raising a child and therefore a lot of opportunities to disagree.

If you had issues before, maybe try to talk them out before baby comes.

I wish. Seems like the good got better and the bad got extremely WORSE. Since I've been pregnant we've "broken up" like 10 times. Before I was pregnant the arguments weren't as bad. When everything's good it is wonderful, but man when it's bad, it's been terrible. But at least we always work through it, not just for the baby's sake but because we really do love eachother and realize that the things we argue about are usually petty as hell.

It stopped the arguments while I was pregnant. Then once little one was born we now argue more because we are tired all the time and we don't 100% agree on how we should act towards our son. Meaning cry it out,where he should sleep stuff like that. But when you see them bonding all of the little fights dissappear. Being a mom is one of the most amazing/tiring /stressful things but I would never change it (:

I voted "other" bc it changed us in a sense that we were both more tired and irritable which made us argue more and snap easier..but at the same time it strengthened my love for my husband bc seeing him interact with our son when he was a newborn was amazing. Now that our 1st son is 2.5 and I'm 7 months pregnant with our 2nd son, seeing them interact together and play together and our sons eyes light up when his daddy takes him to work with him (as in the picture, we're a farming family 💚💛) is just priceless. So it made it "worse" in some ways, but better in so many others!
